Rare yellow chandelier by Vetreria Vistosi Murano, 1960s, mid-century modern

Rare and elegant Murano glass pendant lamp, produced by the historic Vetreria Vistosi of Venice in the 1960s.
A refined example of Mid-Century Modern Italian design, characterised by a sober, essential shape and the extraordinary quality of the Murano glass craftsmanship, with a beautiful solid brass frame.

The diffuser is made of fine cased glass, with a magnificent glossy yellow finish on the outside and diffusing white on the inside.
The particular workmanship enhances the purity of the form, producing a warm and pleasantly diffused light.
The lamp is in good vintage condition. The glass is intact and shows no cracks or chips. The original metal parts show minor signs of aging, consistent with the item's age, as can be seen in the photographs.
The electrical system has been completely renovated in compliance with the regulations, the lamp is ready for installation and use.
Designed for an E27 bulb – 220V. Also compatible with E26 bulbs for the USA – 110V. Bulb not included.
