This is the original study lamp created in 1937 by Jac Jacobsen. Its unique design, ingenious lighting properties, and pivoting adjustment system have made it one of the world's all-time classics. The L-1 lamp is as timeless and ideal for lighting workspaces as it was then.
This lamp is vintage from the 1980s, in excellent condition for the time, it is in perfect working order with the original electrical system, it has no breaks or dents but only minimal traces of age on the paint.
Designer:
Jac Jacobsen (1901-1996) was the founder of Luxo, a company that has been a major supplier of lamps for over 70 years. In 1934, Jacobsen laid the foundation for a company that today produces lighting solutions in three countries and has sales offices throughout Europe, the United States, and Canada.
